about me
Hello! My name is John Paul (JP) and I'm a second year student at Case Western Reserve University, pursuing a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
Born in a rural province in the Philippines where the streets were often dark and limited access to the Internet, I quickly learned the transformative power of electricity. My fascination with technology deepened when I built my first computer, excited to learn how electronics operated at every level. Filled with eagerness to learn, I joined various online communities to learn how to overclock, mod my computer, and the inner workings of each component.
Through internships, research, and project, I've gained valuable hands-on experience in circuit design, microcontroller programming, and embedded systems. I am especially interested in computer hardware design and development.
Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my friends, exploring the city, and listening to music. Most importantly, I love learning new things. As of right now, I'm pursuing a minor in Chinese to learn more about the language and their culture.
I'm looking forward to connect, collaborate, and contribute more to the meaningful projects in the world of engineering!
